AFN Kespuwick, Advisory Committee Area 33 - Member required

Acadia First Nation is seeking a volunteer to sit on the Kespuwick Advisory Committee. As a member of this board you will act as an advisory and assist Acadia First Nation in the management of Kespuwick Resources. This Person must have knowledge regarding the fisheries with an emphasis on Area 33.

$1,500 entrance scholarship to a graduating Mi’kmaq high school student Renewable up to four years.

This scholarship has helped me succeed in reaching my goals, and has helped me through my independent living.

Salena Sylvester is studying towards a Bachelor of Arts at Cape Breton University. Salena is also the East Youth Representative for the Native Women’s Association of Canada.

A Notice Regarding Health Centre Doctor Practice Policies

AFN Community Members,

Please be advised of our Health Centre doctor practice policies.

  1. ALL patients who are scheduled to see the doctor will be so by their appointment time,
    not ARRIVAL TIME.
  2. DR. Marais will not be seeing pati~nts with a family doctor unless their family doctor is
    off/out of the office.
  3. Dr. Marais will NOT be providing prescription rene·wal to those who have a family
    doctor.
