Anyone wishing to file their income tax return please bring your paperwork to the nearest Acadia First Nation Office. This service will be provided to Acadia First Nation Band Members free of charge.
Please bring the attached form along with any of the following documentation:

RE: SECURE OF INDIAN CERTIFICATE STATUS CARDS (SCIS)
Important information regarding status cards past renewal date.
Since April 2020, Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) has extended the validity date of status cards and Temporary Confirmation of Registration Documents due to Covid – 19 pandemic. This extension will end May 1, 2022.
Registered persons with a status card past the renewal date should renew now. Applicants should submit a complete application with all required documents . complete applications will be processed in 8 to 12 weeks.
A person’s registration under the Indian Act does not expire . The 10-digit registration number can be used to access certain services. However, registered persons with a status card past the renewal date may find it difficult to access some services and programs.

Important Notice Regarding PCR or Rapid Testing for COVID-19

For anyone who has tested positive on a PCR or rapid test, please feel free to contact Marla Robinson-Pyne or our Community Health Nurse, Chelsea Sawyer, at the contact below.
We are able to provide Rapid tests for those close contacts residing with someone whom has tested positive for COVID-19, from either the Gold River or Yarmouth Health Centres. Chelsea has also done up some informative resources around; self isolating, close contacts, testing, etc.
